Exhibitions

The National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia hosts an enormous artistic treasure: numerous oils on canvas by important masters, sculptures, works of applied arts, as well as rare and old printed books such as the first Serbian Constitution (the Sretenje Constitution), Sultan’s Hatisheriff from 1838, handwritten notes from sessions held between 1914 and 1918 in Niš and in Corfu, “Slavenoserbski Magazine” printed in Venice in 1768, etc.

From time to time, some of the national treasure is presented to the public in exhibitions organized by the National Assembly, particularly during the European Heritage Days. The Parliament has been participating in this celebration for the last several years.
